ECOSYSTEMS TO EXHIBIT AT 2019 NATIONAL APARTMENT ASSOCIATION’S, APARTMENTALIZE, ALONGSIDE DENVER WATER
EcoSystems announces today the firm will exhibit at the National Apartment Association (NAA) trade show, Apartmentalize, in Denver, CO from June 26-28. Ecosystems, a company founded and operated by two brothers determined to combat global water scarcity and water shortages, will be exhibiting alongside Denver Water this year at booth #1665.
Known for its proven turnkey installation processes and dedication to conserving water and energy, EcoSystems has completed over 53,000 bathroom retrofits to date, saving more than 2 billion gallons of fresh water and $15 million in utility costs. By upgrading showerheads, toilets, aerators, and LED lighting, the company offers speedy, money-saving solutions to property owners. Typically, EcoSystems is able to eliminate 30-65 percent cost on sewer and water bills within 18 months of the retrofit.
Denver Water and EcoSystems announced their exclusive partnership back in January, 2018 following the completion of the utility’ largest toilet rebate to date. For Denver Water customers, EcoSystems offers a free water and energy conservation audit and retrofit/repair program for low income and non-profit patrons.
Apartmentalize provides a unique experience for apartment industry professionals to come together and listen to keynote speakers, network and learn from different exhibitor booths. Each year, the show attracts 10,000 attendees and over 500 exhibitors.
“We’re excited to be exhibiting with our partner, Denver Water at NAA’s Apartmentalize this June,” said Richard Lamondin, Jr., CEO of EcoSystems. “With Denver Water, we have been able to make such a positive impact in their community by not only saving 33 million gallons of water and $225,000, but also by bringing these solutions to those who can benefit from them the most. Our partnership is something we want to continue to do for other communities in the United States, and with them by our side at Apartmentalize, we will be able to spread the word of our mission and hopefully educate prospective partners about how conservation is good for business.”
A growing trend in the industry, multifamily borrowers can commit to renovations to reduce energy or water consumption as a trade-off for lower or fixed interest rates. The demand increase for these Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac green loans has forced savings requirements to go up the past three years. With the help of EcoSystems, properties can meet these standards and qualify for these reduced loans.
“Working with EcoSystems has been a fulfilling and seamless experience,” said NAME, Title, Denver Water. “With EcoSystems, we know we are making a positive impact to fight the global water crisis and help our community along the way. We are looking forward to telling our story at Apartmentalize, so that others may be inspired to partner with EcoSystems and conserve our most vital resource.”
